The Lord of Change Kairos Fateweaver brings about the downfall of Xahutec. Led by Be'lakor, armies of Chaos Daemons march across the world, assaulting the Lizardmen, Elves, Dwarfs and others. The Warp Gates collapse, causing the Coming of Chaos.Īt the poles, permanent rifts open to the Realm of Chaos, creating the Chaos Wastes.Ĭhaos energy (raw magic) and warpstone flood into the world, mutating humans and animals into Skaven and Beastmen.ĭuring this time many primitive human tribes begin to worship the Chaos Gods. The Coming of Chaos / The Great Catastrophe The Ogres are created by the Old Ones to help stop the spread of Chaos. The Old Ones create Warpgates above the poles in order to travel between worlds. Try as they might, legions of Saurus are unable to completely wipe out the Greenskins. Afterwards, dwarfs, humans and halflings are created. The world's orbit is shifted, ending the ice age, and the continents are split up, creating the Great Ocean.Įlves are created and placed on the island continent Ulthuan. Other Temple-Cities follow thereafter with some in The Southlands, such as Zlatlan. Itza is founded as the first Temple-City of the Lizardmen. The other spawnings of Slann are created.
